Hi, I’m Irene and I’m a career coach specializing in supporting BIPOC women, LGBTQI people, immigrants and people with disabilities in finding meaningful and equitable work.
I’ve worked as a university professor, a nonprofit program administrator, and a recruiter at a FAANG company, among other roles and interests. (“FAANG” is an acronym referring to five prominent American technology companies: Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix; and Alphabet (fka Google)).
What defines me across all that I’ve done is a fierce passion to help others achieve their goals and thrive, even if their identities don’t generally come with social privilege.
I started this site while while looking for work in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 to share resources related to finding and keeping meaningful work that supports, grows and values a diversity of identities.
